What Is the CDCP?
The CDCP is a federal dental benefit program that helps cover the cost of oral health care for eligible Canadian residents. All eligible Canadians of any age can now apply.
You may qualify if you:
-
Don’t have access to dental insurance
-
Have an adjusted family net income under $90,000
-
Have filed your tax return for the previous year
-
Are a Canadian resident for tax purposes
The plan helps cover many routine and preventive treatments, along with some restorative care. How much it covers depends on your family income. If you’re eligible, Parkland Dental is ready to help you make the most of your benefits.
What’s Covered?
Depending on your eligibility and coverage level, CDCP may help pay for:
-
Exams and cleanings
-
Diagnostic X-rays
-
Fillings and extractions
-
Root canal therapy
-
Dentures (partial or full)
We’ll review your plan and let you know what’s covered before starting treatment.
